Illegal conveyance of drugs, weapons — Lawrence County Jail, Wednesday, man brought to jail allegedly had razor blade and marijuana cigarette. James R. Basenback, 21, 226 McCalum, Westwood, Ky., charged with illegal conveyance of drugs, weapons.

Trouble — Chesapeake High School, Thursday, student allegedly found with knife and taken to group home.

Domestic violence — County Road 107, Proctorville, Friday, woman alleged live-in boyfriend threw remote at her and head-butted her while she was holding a child. Jack Prince, 38, 8710 County Road 107, Proctorville, charged with domestic violence and endangering children, taken to jail.

Assault — Township Road 365, South Point, Friday man alleged woman became violent and blackened his eye. Billie J. Ferguson, 20, 148 Township Road 1089, Proctorville, charged with assault and unauthorized use of a motor vehicle and taken to jail.

Petty theft – Walmart Friday customer allegedly took car charger worth $14.56 from store without paying. Brandy D. Donahue, Route 2, Branchland, W.Va., cited for petty theft.

Menacing — County Road 52, Ironton, couple alleges two men came on property and threatened them. Craig A. Hogsten, 40, 65 Private Drive 954 and Larry M. Chinn, 23, cited.

Fire — 1500 block of Thomas Street, 1:09 a.m. Saturday, neighbor had bonfire in backyard, Ironton Fire Department responded.

Vandalism — 2300 block of South Ninth Street, 9:06 a.m. Saturday, owner reports back car window smashed with pumpkin.

Trouble — 10th Street at Quincy Street, 12:37 p.m. Saturday, children playing on construction equipment, juveniles advised.

Burning — 400 block of Delaware Street, 1:20 p.m. Saturday, neighbor burning wood behind house, Ironton Fire Department responded.

Vandalism — 1800 block of South Sixth Street, 7:15 p.m. Saturday, items being stolen from porch.

Loud music — 400 block of South Fifth Street, 9:45 p.m. Saturday, boy playing drums keeping neighbors awake, subject advised.

Trouble — JAB, 11:33 p.m. Saturday, girl unconscious in bar, taken to Our Lady of Bellefonte Hospital.

Trouble — Woodland Cemetery, 7:47 p.m. Sunday, banging reported on doors and windows, units notified.

Suspicious person — Fifth and Ellison streets, 11:31 a.m. Sunday, woman reports man looking into side window, was resident’s brother.

Trouble — 1000 North Fifth Street, 7:43 a.m. Monday, woman alleges another woman threatens her daughter and won’t let her get to bus stop, resolved.
