Fairland (3-6, 2-2) at Rock Hill (2-7, 2-2)

The one most constant factor in this series is its unpredictability.

Most of the time, the favored team doesn’t come out the winner. However, this year the two teams are evenly matched.

Rock Hill must try to be more physical up front than the Dragons and establish their running game. Fairland needs to be more diversified, especially to keep the pressure off Chad Fisher who is the focal point of almost every opponent.

The winner of this game will determine third place in the final conference standings.

South Point (1-8, 0-4) at River Valley (1-8, 0-4)

There’s a lot more similarities between these two teams than just their records as the winner will avoid finishing at the bottom of the Ohio Valley Conference standings.

Both teams are young and inexperienced, both teams have good running games, and both teams have shown the ability to more the football and score some points.

The difference in this game will be River Valley’s ability to throw the ball with quarterback Jacob Hefner and the Pointers’ defense that has to step up and play well against both the run and the pass.

South Gallia at

Symmes Valley (8-1)

With the league schedule done and the playoffs ahead, the Vikings don’t appear to have much to play for in their regular season finale.

But there is a lot at stake. Not only is this Senior Night for the Vikings, but they will be battling for a home playoff game as they try to avoid making a trip like last year when they had to travel four hours to Malvern.

South Gallia has had some success in its first season of TVC play, but the Rebels haven’t seen too many teams with the Vikings talent, especially on the offensive and defensive lines.

Oak Hill (8-1, 3-0)

at Green (4-5, 1-2)

It’s been quite a turnaround season for the Bobcats.

Suffering through years of between no wins to two victories, the Bobcats are 4-5 on the season to double last year’s win total. Although there are some key losses, Green has just seven seniors including T.J. McCloud, Tyler Hughes, Chad Lewis, Keith Stepp, Trevor Otworth, Peyton Crabtree and Dillon Smith.

However, the Bobcats face their toughest challenge of the season as they host the Div. V playoff bound Oaks who need a win to wrap up a second straight SOC I title.
