PROCTORVILLE — The New Hope United Methodist Church women’s ministries will host their annual benefit Holiday Bazaar on Saturday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Money raised from this year’s bazaar will be used to complete a variety of projects and programs throughout the coming year — everything from replacing worn carpets to supporting community outreach programs such as the food pantry.
The charity sales event will feature many artistic items; specialty gift baskets; Rada knives and products; woodcraft items, pumpkin rolls and other home baked goods; homemade candies; crafts of all kinds including woodcrafts, fall crafts and Christmas crafts; plants and herbs; and a “This-N-That” shopping area with many nice surprise items. Lunch will be available with generous portions of homemade barbeque, beans and cornbread, hot dogs, desserts and beverages.
New Hope United Methodist Church is located just north of Proctorville, at 111 Township Road 1130. From County Road 775 (Old State Route 775), turn right across from Hall Funeral Home onto Township Road 1130 and travel one block east.
