Fairland High School is seeking a varsity assistant coach in wrestling.

IRD youth basketball

registration planned

The Ironton Recreation Department will conduct registrations from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday at Bob Linn Sporting Goods.

Registration is open to youths in grades 2-to-6. Fee is $30 for one and $50 for a family and $20 for the second grade Buddy League.

OSU-Michigan tix

to be raffled

Ironton in Bloom and the Ironton Tiger Clan athletic booster club have teamed up for a fundraiser.

The group will be raffling two football tickets to the Michigan at Ohio State game.

There are only 500 tickets available for a $10 donation price.

Tickets will be sold by contacting Jan Wolfe at (740) 5332-1030 or Jay Zornes at (740) 533-7000. Tickets are also available from members of Ironton in Bloom and the Tiger Clan.

SV powder puff

game Thursday

The Symmes Valley Lady Vikings will play their annual powder puff football game at 6 p.m. Thursday at the high school.

Admission is $3 for adults and $2 for students. Concessions will be available. Proceeds go toward the Viking Incentive Program.

A community pep rally will follow the game.
