‘Dancing with the Tri-State Stars’ set for Nov. 20

Huntington, W.Va. — Ebenezer Medical Outreach, Inc. presents the Second Annual Dancing with the Tri-State Stars event on Nov. 20 at 7 p.m. at the Big Sandy Superstore Arena.

This year’s show will be hosted by Magic 97.9 Morning personality JB Miller.

Twelve local “stars” will dance for a great cause, support of the programs at Ebenezer Medical Outreach, Inc. Chef Lawrence Perry, Director of Hospitality Management with Mountwest Community and Technical College; Dr. Gerald McKinney, a surgeon with Joan C. Edwards School of Medicine; Chris Miller with Dutch Miller Kia; Tim White with the City of Huntington’s Weed and Seed Program; Jason Shepherd a Branch Manager with United Bank; Lou Akers, Vice President of Champion Industries Board of Directors; Anne Yon with McGuire Realty Company and candidate for county commissioner; Laura Evans, local musician, Carrie Cline a news anchor with WSAZ Channel 3; Dominique Elmore with Marshall University Women’s Center; Elizabeth Ayers with the Cabell County Health Department; and George Kotalic, a local landscape business owner.

This fundraising event was embraced by the community last year and organizers feel it will be a great evening of entertainment again this year.

Ebenezer Medical Outreach, Inc. is a full service medical clinic open 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday, that provides a multitude of services to the uninsured and underinsured of the Tri-State region of West Virginia, Kentucky and Ohio.

EMO services nine counties, with a combined population of 329,453, with 69,185 individuals living at or below the federal poverty guidelines.

Volunteer medical professionals donate approximately 325 hours per month to provide quality care to our patients. We have seen a significant increase in people who are uninsured and need medical care this year. Each week we screen between 20 and 30 people seeking services. We need your support for our fundraising efforts so that we can meet the growing demand for medical care.
