Tigers vs. Flyers
benefit game
The St. Joseph Flyers at Ironton Fighting Tigers basketball scrimmage game will benefit the Lawrence County Relay for Life.
The game will be at 6 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 30, at the Ironton Sports Center.
All proceeds will benefit the Lawrence County Relay for Life cancer program.
Boys’ OVC basketball
preview set Friday
The Ohio Valley Conference boys’ basketball preview will be Friday at Chesapeake.
Each team plays two quarters. The All-OVC fall sports team will be presented their awards between the second and third games.
Here is the girls’ schedule: 6:00 South Point vs. River Valley; 7:00 Fairland vs. Coal Grove; 8:00 Rock Hill vs. Chesapeake.
The boys’ schedule: 6:00 Rock Hill vs. River Valley; 7:00 South Point vs. Fairland; 8:00 Coal Grove vs. Chesapeake.
Admission is $5.
CG at SV scrimmage
to benefit cancer
WILLOW WOOD — The Coal Grove at Symmes Valley girls’ OHSAA Foundation basketball game at 6 p.m. Monday will benefit the Lawrence County Relay for Life fight against cancer.
“Hoops for the Cure” T-shirts are being sold at the schools and at the game. Admission is $5.
Extreme volleyball
open gym planned
The Southern Ohio Extreme volleyball club will conduct open gym at 2 p.m. on Sundays, Nov. 21 and Dec. 5, at Coal Grove High School. The club is open to girls ages 12-17.
