William “Bill” Waddell II

William “Bill” Waddell II, 41, of Coal Grove, passed away Saturday, Dec. 11, 2010, at King’s Daughters Medical Center, Ashland, Ky. after a brief illness.
He was born Oct. 21, 1969, in Lawrence County, a son of Diane Easterling Waddell and William “Nud” Waddell of Coal Grove.
Bill was the former business owner of Candy’s Restaurant in the City Center in Ironton, and was of the Baptist faith.
In addition to his dad, he is survived by his wife, Angie Waddell; a fiancé, Kayla Burke; two sons, Justin and Billy Waddell; three daughters, Candy, Becky and Madison Waddell; his grandfather, Bill Waddell and his wife Peggy of Naples, Fla.; four sisters, Angie Wagner and her husband Keith, Michelle Childers, Amanda Blake and her husband Boyd, and Amber Waddell; a brother, Chuck Waddell and his wife Keisha of Romney, W.Va. Bill also leaves to mourn his passing two grandchildren, Braden Waddell and Aubrey Diana Waddell.
Funeral services will be conducted at noon Wednesday, Dec. 15 in the chapel of Brown Funeral Chapel located at 2427 S. Eleventh St., Ironton with Pastor Ryan Mckee officiating. Burial will follow in the Woodland Cemetery. Friends may call from 6 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral chapel. The family has entrusted his care to Brown Funeral Chapel.
