COLUMBUS — Ralph L. Banks was born on Dec. 26, 1946 in Ironton, and died Friday, Dec. 10, 2010. He was the son of the late Charles (Moke) and Lottie Mae Banks. He is survived by his loving wife, Marcia Banks; sister, Charlotte S. Thomas; four brothers, Charles A. Banks of Dayton, Clyde Banks of Roanoke, Va, Rodney (Tracey) Banks of Burlington, Dwight (Cheryl) Banks of Columbus; daughters, Alisha (Jeff) Dunham of Charleston, W.Va., and Jessica Banks of Columbus; two granddaughters; one grandson; special cousins, Ann Penny, Rhoda Owens, and Arlene Frazier; extended family, William (Diane) Pleasant, Eddie and Bobby Pleasant, the Wrights and Mayo families, Willie L. (Linda) Sams, Norita Sams and Gracie McRary; many nieces, nephews, cousins, other family members and friends. Family will receive friends at 11 a.m.

Friday at Independent Church of God in Christ, 2249 E. Fifth Ave., with service following at noon. All flowers and condolences are to be sent to the church. Interment will be in Dayton National Cemetery.
