Violet M. Davidson

SOUTH POINT — Violet M. Davidson, 70, of South Point, went home to be with the Lord, Tuesday, Dec. 21, 2010, at King’s Daughters Medical Center. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Monday at Schneider-Griffin Funeral Home with Pastor Aaron Childers officiating. Burial will follow at a later date in Highland Memorial Gardens, South Point.
Violet was born Aug. 12, 1940, in Ashland, Ky., a daughter of the late James and Anna Hall Baer. She attended Solida Baptist Church and was a homemaker. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Davidson. Violet is survived by three sons and daughters-in-law, Gregg and Teresa Davidson of South Point, Shawn and Heather Davidson of Rush, Ky. and Anthony and Tammy Davidson of Ashland, Ky.; five grandchildren, Levi, Cody, Noah, Valey, and Tevin Davidson; two step-grandchildren, Tamaur and TaKeesha Davis; four sisters and three brothers-in-law, Eleanor and Fred Davis of Rush, Judy and Ernest Stidham of Nova, Gloria and Russell Howard of Berry, Ky. and Barbara Baer of Ashland; and one brother, Jimmy Baer of Ashland.
