FLATWOODS, Ky. — Bruce J. Henry, 50, of Flatwoods, went home to be with his Savior on Monday, Dec. 27, 2010, at Our Lady of Bellefonte Hospital surrounded by family and friends. He was born Aug. 29, 1960, in Ironton, a son of the late Donald and Lillian Bryant Henry.

He was a custodian at Russell Primary School and a member of Temple Baptist Church in Flatwoods. He was active with youth camps and with sound equipment.

Surviving are his wife, Kathy Yates Henry; a daughter, Betty Hoffman of Flatwoods; a granddaughter, Abbygaile May Hoffman; three sisters, Suzanne Clark of Patriot; Belinda Littlejohn of Coal Grove and Denise (Charles) Bowman of Coal Grove; and a large loving family.

Funeral will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Temple Baptist Church with minister Jim Pridemore officiating. Burial will be in Rude Cemetery. Friends may call from 6-9 p.m. Thursday at the church. Carman Funeral Home, Flatwoods, is in charge of arrangements.
