JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Marie Ruth (Dean) Barrow, 83, of Jacksonville, Florida died Saturday, Jan. 8, 2011, at St. Vincent’s Medical Center in Jacksonville. She was born Dec. 28, 1927, the daughter of the late Gerard Kinner and Annie Elizabeth (Bruce) Dean. Marie was a member of the Hillcrest Baptist Church in Jacksonville. She was preceded in death by a sister, Mary Elizabeth (Dean) Wilson and a half brother, John Tilden Dean. Marie is survived by two daughters, Ruth Kay Barrow of Cedar City, Utah and Linda (Greg) Bookhardt of Paint Lick, Ky.; a sister, Anna Maude Dean of Pinnacle, N.C.; a brother, Kinner Bruce Dean; three grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. There will be no services.
