Female Flyers roll past Covenant

HUNTINGTON, W.Va. — The St. Joseph Female Flyers don’t mind getting involved.
Every Female Flyer scored Thursday as St. Joseph beat Covenant 44-26.
“Everybody scored and that’s something you like to see,” said St. Joseph coach Nick Miller. “Everyone’s confidence is getting better.”
Leading the scoring for the Female Flyers was Katie Hacker with 13 points. Sarah Neal had 11 points and Becca Patrick scored 10.
Neal had six points in the first quarter as St. Joseph took a 13-7 lead.
Hacker got four in the second quarter and three other players had two each as the lead went to 23-13 at the break.
Hacker had four more in the third quarter as the lead grew to 33-18 and Neal got five in the fourth quarter as St. Joseph got the easy win.
St. Joseph hosts Rose Hill, Ky., at 6 p.m. next Thursday.
