PROCTORVILLE — Pick your poison.
The South Point Lady Pointers have more than one player for opponents to defend. The Rock Hill Redwomen found out first hand Monday.
South Point had three players in doubled figures and nine different players scored as the Lady Pointers picked up a 66-44 Ohio Valley Conference win.
Jalynn Bradburn scored 23 points to lead the Lady Pointers, 10-2 overall and 5-0 in the OVC. Kayla Fletcher and Kimmie Bennett added 11 points each.
“We were patient and did a pretty good job, but South Point just has too many weapons,” said Rock Hill coach Alvin Carpenter.
Tommi Butler scored 14 points to pace Rock Hill (5-7, 1-3). Chelsea Harper had eight rebounds and Brittany Thompson grabbed six.
Bradburn had seven points in the first quarter as South Point jumped out to a 20-5 lead.
Fletcher went to the bench in the second quarter with foul trouble but Bennett scored six points and it was 38-23 at the break.
Bradburn poured in 10 points in the third quarter and the lead was 56-35 after three quarters.
