Larry Eugene Johnson

PEDRO — Larry Eugene Johnson, 58, of Pedro, passed away Tuesday, Jan. 25, 2011, at SOMC in Portsmouth. The Ironton native was born Nov. 14, 1952, the son of the late Perry and Bellvia McCormick Johnson. Mr. Johnson was a 1972 graduate of Rock Hill High School and was of the Baptist faith. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, James Charles Johnson, and a great niece, Mary Ann Johnson.

He is survived by a brother, Lee Cade of Newark, two nephews, James Johnson and his companion, Polly Jenkins and Don Johnson all of Pedro; a sister-in-law, Ethel Johnson of Pedro; a great niece, Lisa Johnson of South Point; two great great nephews, Brayden Fitzpatrick of South Point and Michael Shope of Franklin Furnace.

Graveside service will be 12 p.m. Saturday in Lawrence Furnace Cemetery with Rev. George Cade officiating. There will be no public visitation. Phillips Funeral Home, 1004 S.
