Virgil Garrett Reynolds

PEDRO — Virgil Garrett Reynolds, 57, of Pedro, passed away Wednesday, Jan. 26, 2011, at his residence.

The Ironton native was born March 29, 1953, the son of the late Paul E. and Hazel Brown Reynolds.

Mr. Reynolds was a graduate of Rock Hill High School and a U.S. Army veteran.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by six brothers, Curtis Reynolds Sr., Frank Reynolds, Paul “June” Reynolds, Harley Reynolds, Ralph “Fred” Reynolds and James “Buck” Reynolds; a sister-in-law, Sally Reynolds; paternal grandparents, James and Clemmie Reynolds; and maternal grandparents, Dow and  Emmie Brown.

He is survived by two sons, Christopher Reynolds of Bulls Head, Ariz. and Jesse Reynolds of Kapaa, Hawaii; a daughter, Senesta Reynolds of East Hampton,  Conn.; two sisters, Kathy Dixon of Pedro and Wanda Waugh of Scottown; three grandchildren; five sisters-in-law, Doloris Reynolds and Rosemary Reynolds both of Pedro, Sudy Reynolds of Fairborn, Blanche Sue Reynolds of Haverhill and Juanita Reynolds of Deering; a special little buddy, Daron Dixon of Pedro; and lots of nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday in Oakland Chapel Cemetery with military graveside rites by VFW Post 8850 and Rev. Lenny Campbell officiating.
