Tommy Simmons Keys

BRADENTON, FLA. – Tommy Simmons Keys, 85, of Bradenton, died Jan. 29, 2011.
Born in Ironton, he moved to Bradenton in 1987. A veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps, serving during World War II, he was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church, of Bradenton, Elks Lodge # 1511, of Bradenton and American Legion Kirby Stewart Post 24. He was a retired hotel and restaurant manager and he also worked for Armco Steel Co.
He is survived by a wife, Mary of Bradenton; a sister, Martha Wellman of Largo, Fla.; three nieces; and one nephew. There will be a graveside service at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 8, at Woodland Cemetery.
