COAL GROVE — James “Butch” Robert Hamilton, 50, of Coal Grove, died Wednesday, Feb. 2, 2011, at his residence. The Circleville native was born Feb. 5, 1960, the son of Gloria Butler Hamilton of Ironton and the late Teddy Hamilton. He is also survived by his wife of 32 years, Wilma Martin Hamilton, whom he married March 24, 1978.

Butch attended schools in McDowell, Ky., and was a former laborer. In addition to his mother and wife, he is survived by a daughter, Jill Regina Hamilton of Nashville, Tenn.; a son and daughter-in-law, Jeff and Samantha Hamilton of Coal Grove; a sister and brother-in-law, Teresa and Myron Gould of Kitts Hill;and a brother, Roger Hamilton of Ironton.

Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Phillips Funeral Home with Pastor Greg Lockee and Pastor Jason Porter officiating.
