The St. Joseph Female Flyers outscored the Sciotoville East Lady Tartans jayvees in three of the four quarters, but the third quarter proved to be their down fall in a 34-30 loss on senior night.

“We played pretty well the first half and in the fourth quarter, but we let them beat us down the floor in the third quarter and that was the difference,” said Female Flyers’ coach Nick Miller.

Senior Katie Hacker led St. Joseph with 14 points in her final home game. Sarah Neal and Becca Patrick added six each.

The Female Flyers were up 8-6 at the end of the first quarter and it was 19-12 at the half.
