All Briggs Lawrence County Public Library locations will be closed Monday for Presidents Day.

Beginning March 1, the circulation period for DVD movies checked out from all Briggs Library locations will be reduced from 14 days to seven days. All other items including movies on videotape may still be kept for 14 days. This change in policy is due to high demand for these items and fewer new items being acquired by the library.

The Eastern Branch Library Knitting and Crochet Club will meet at 1 p.m. Thursday. Anyone interested in learning to knit or crochet as well as the experienced crafter is invited to join them. For information, call (740) 886-6697.
