Delores Blair, 67, of Ironton, passed away Tuesday, Feb. 22, 2011, at her home. The Raleigh County, W.Va., native was born Oct. 13, 1943, the daughter of the late Harold E. and Lorene Blackburn Rose. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Raymond L. “Jack” Blair, who passed away Sept. 22, 2009.
Mrs. Blair was a homemaker.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a stepgranddaughter, a brother, Freddy Rose, and a sister, Marlene White.
She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, William and Sally Rowe of Seoul, South Korea; a daughter and son-in-law, Tammie and Tom Hall of Catlettsburg, Ky.; two stepsons, Richard Blair of Nashville, Tenn., and Jack Andrew Blair of Kenosha, Wis.; a stepdaughter, Trenda Vaughn of Hecla; two grandchildren; two stepgrandchildren; a sister, Leota Campbell of Ironton; and a brother, Ronald Rose of Long Beach, Miss.
Funeral will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Phillips Funeral Home with the Rev. Lamar O’Bryant officiating. Burial will follow in Sugar Creek Cemetery and visitation will be Friday from 6-9 p.m. at the funeral home. To offer condolences to the family, please visit www.phillipsfuneralhome.net.
