Lacy Green

PROCTORVILLE — Lacy Green, 75, of Proctorville, went home to be with the Lord, Monday, Feb. 21, 2011, at his residence.

Lacy was born Oct. 8, 1935, in Kimball, W.Va., a son of the late Bowling J. and Goldie Mae Mullins Green. He was a member of Christ Community Church and retired as a district manager from Rich Oil.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by four siblings, Alvie Green, Robie Green, Ethel Belcher and Bobby Green; and one son-in-law, Gary Malone. Lacy is survived by his wife, Annabel Byrd Green of Proctorville; six children, Vicky Beddies of Kettering, Linda Ramey of Proctorville, Eddie Green of Mainz, Germany, Randy (Candi) Green of Ballston Lake, N.Y., Sherri (Chuck) Willey of Winfield, W.Va., and Kim (Robert) Kratzenberg of South Point; 12 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; and two siblings, Roy Green of Kimball, W.Va. and Margie Fellure of Huntington, W.Va.

Funeral services will be noon Friday at Schneider-Griffin Funeral Home with Rev. Kermit Taylor officiating. Burial will follow in White Chapel Memorial Gardens. Friends may call from 11 a.m. to noon Friday at Schneider-Griffin Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions be made to Hospice of Huntington.
