The deadline is approaching for payment of the county’s first half tax bill. The deadline is Friday.

Payments can be made at the office of Lawrence County Treasurer Stephen Dale Burcham by 4 p.m. or at the following banks by the close of business: US Bank, Ohio River Bank, Liberty Federal, City National and Ohio Valley Bank.

Questions about valuation can be directed to the auditor’s office at 533-4310. Other questions can be directed to the treasurer’s office at 533-4305.
