Robert Lee “Bob” Wilson

Robert Lee “Bob” Wilson, 57, of Ironton, died at his home on Tuesday, March 15, 2011.

He was born May 14, 1953, a son of the late Lloyd Wilson and the late Lenora Collins Wilson. He was a maintenance engineer at the former Lawrence County General Hospital with more than seven years of service and a funeral attendant for Brown Funeral Chapel. He was of the Protestant faith, attending the Ironton City Mission and was a former member of the Ironton Moose Lodge.

He is survived by his daughter, Jennifer Grubb and her fiancé, Lee Craft; a son, Robbie Wilson of Lexington, Ky.; a brother, Lloyd Wilson and his wife, Phyllis of Ironton; four sisters, Betty Wilson, Mettie Martin, Janet Wilson Skaggs and Linda Brown, all of Ironton; and three grandchildren.

Funeral service will be conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday in the chapel of Brown Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Jim Cremeans and the Rev. Jeff Cremeans officiating. Burial will follow in the Zoar Baptist Church Cemetery on State Route 243. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
