Julia and David R. Basham, of Franklin Furnace, would like to announce the marriage of their son, Nicholas R. Basham, to Renee Hacker Williams, daughter of Bernadette and Larry Hacker, of Ironton.

Nicholas is a graduate of Green High School, Morehead State University and Ohio University, where he earned a degree in music education and a master’s degree in administration. He currently works at Rock Hill High School.

Renee is a graduate of St. Joseph High School and Ohio University, where he earned a degree in education.

The wedding took place on March 19.
