WATERLOO­ — Dorothy L. Miller, 90, of Waterloo, died Wednesday, March 23, 2011, at Community Hospice of Ashland, Ky. Dorothy was born March 28, 1920 in Proctorville. She was the daughter of the late George L. and Rose Ella Edwards Taylor. She was married to Benjamin Thomas Miller on Dec. 15, 1937. Bennie preceded her in death on March 31, 1990.

Mrs. Miller was a homemaker.

She attended Greasy Ridge Church of Christ for many years and recently attended Slabfork United Methodist Church.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a son, Benjamin Miller Jr.; a daughter, Ella Mae Ryder; two grandchildren, Vincent E. Taylor and Trisha L. Miller Everhart; three sisters, Norma Miller, Vivian Taylor and Blanche Marie Taylor; and four brothers, Robert Taylor, Edwin Taylor, Maxwell Taylor and James Taylor.

She is survived by five children: Forrest E. and Merri Miller, Donald R. and Evelyn Miller all of Mansfield, and her caregivers, Tom and Iris Miller of Waterloo, Dianna and John Henderson of Mansfield, and Wilbert and Reggie Miller of Grayson, Ky.; a daughter-in-law, Hope Glazier; a son-in-law, William Ryder; a sister, Jewell Malone;

a brother and sister-in-law, George and Patty Taylor of Waterloo; a sister-in-law, Audrey Malone of Pedro; 16 grandchildren, 31 great grandchildren, one great-great grandchild many loving nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Phillips Funeral Home, 1004 S. Seventh St., Ironton, with Rev. Max Donahue and Rev. Leon Dalton officiating. Burial will follow in Macedonia Cemetery and visitation will be Saturday from noon until the time of the service at the funeral home.
