SUMMIT, Ky. — William E. “Bill” Scaggs, 75, of Summit, died on Sunday April 24, 2011, at King’s Daughters’ Medical Center. He was a member of Rose Hill Baptist Church, retired from A.K. Steel and served during the Korean Conflict in the U.S. Marines. He is survived by his wife Ramona Scaggs; a daughter Keri Scaggs; a grandson Anthony William Epifano; two sisters, Maudevelyne Borders and Agnes Cripple; sister-in-law Vera Scaggs, and brother-in-law Phil Collins and wife Sue. Funeral services will be held on Thursday at 1 p.m. at Steen Funeral Home-13th Street Chapel with burial to follow in Catlettsburg Cemetery.
