Mr. Wilson C. Bundy, 87, of Ironton died Wednesday, April 27, 2011, at Community Hospice Care Center in Ashland, Ky. He was born July 29, 1923, the son of the late Millard and Effie Akers Bundy. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Lennie Bundy whom he married in 1945 and one son, Samuel Bundy.

He is survived by one daughter, Janet Bowman of Ironton; two granddaughters, Jody L. Travis of Ironton and Lori Jane (Thomas) Rooney of Glen Allen, Va.; six great grandchildren, Brooklyn and Samantha Bowman, Noelle Tufts, Maxwell, Benjamen and Grace Rooney; two brothers, James (Hazel) Bundy of Coal Grove and Cleve (Edna) Bundy of Ironton; and one sister, Mildred White of Gallipolis.

Funeral services will be held at 12 p.m. Saturday at the Tracy Brammer Funeral Home, with Minister Todd Parsley officiating. Interment will follow in Pleasant (Tick) Ridge Cemetery, Proctorville. Friends may call from 6-8 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home.
