Harry “Hap” Easter

LEANDER, Texas — Harry “Hap” Easter, of Leander, Texas, formerly of Franklin Furnace, died Sunday, May 1, 2011. He retired from Allied Chemical in Ironton after 35 years of service. He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth “Lib” Stout Easter; son, Geoffrey Easter and wife Cynthia, from Minford; daughter, Candace Kucera and husband Anton, from Georgetown, Texas; brother, David Eugene Easter, of Buena Vista; seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by parents, Harry and Ruby Easter of Buena Vista; two brothers, Harold Easter and Paul Easter, and one sister, Margaret Singer. Hap Easter retired from Allied Chemical in 1982, with 35 years of service. He was a member of St. John’s United Methodist Church in Leander.
Services were held May 5 at 3:30 p.m. at Cook-Walden Funeral Home. Burial was at Cook-Walden Capital Park Cemetery, in Pflugerville, Texas.
