CHESAPEAKE — Earl Lafon, 97, of Chesapeake, died Sunday, May 15, 2011, in St. Mary’s Medical Center. He is survived by his wife, Phyllis Lafon. Funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Hall Funeral Home, Proctorville, by Minister Tom Miller and Minister Barry Kelley.

Burial will follow in Centenary Cemetery, Chesapeake. Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
