Splash Park closed for repair
IRONTON — Ironton’s Splash Park will be closed for a “day or so” after one of its plastic water jet heads cracked Tuesday, Mayor Rich Blankenship said. The broken part was a safety hazard because children could be cut stepping on the pieces, he said.
The city is waiting to get for parts to repair the jet.
“It should be up and going in the next day or so,” Blankenship said. “The good thing is that we have a warranty on the parts.”
