SHERIDAN — The Ohio State Highway Patrol has released the names of two drivers involved in a car accident in Sheridan Tuesday morning.

Jeremy McMillian, 28, of Third Street in Ironton and Charles E. Cox, 21, of South Point were injured in the accident.

Cox, who drove a 2000 Chevy Malibu, was cited for failure to yield following the accident. Trooper Brian Rutherford of the Ohio State Highway Patrol said according to witnesses Cox stopped briefly before entering U.S. 52 from County Road 1. He had crossed the right lane of eastbound traffic and was entering the left lane when his vehicle was struck by McMillian’s vehicle, a 1990 Ford Ranger pickup truck.
