Jan C. Schweickart, 79 of Ironton, passed away Monday, July 18, 2011, at an Ironton health center. The Ironton native was born Dec. 7, 1931, the daughter of the late George G. and Lena Smith Schweickart.

Jan was a 1949 graduate of Ironton High School, former employee of the First National Bank of Ironton and a member of the Central Christian Church of Ironton.

She was preceded in death by her parents and survived by a sister Sue S. Williams; brother William “Bill” Schweickart; three nieces, Frankie S. Kozicky, Kimberly S. Schwab and Jan C. Johnson; five nephews, Minister Jim Williams, G. W., Shane, Paul and Steve Schweickart; and several great nieces and great nephews.
