LAKE MARY, Fla. — William Howard “Bill” Johnson Jr. 62, of Lake Mary, passed away on Sunday, July 24, 2011. Born and raised in Ashland, Ky., Bill graduated from Paul Blazer High School in 1967 and earned his B.S. from Western Kentucky University, Class of 1971. He worked for the Zales Corporation from 1971-1985 reaching the vice president level. He proudly owned and operated William Howard’s Jewelers of Sanford, Fla., from 1985-2002.

He was a devoted Christian with a sense of humor that compared to no other. Bill will certainly be remembered for his gifted way of starting conversations with strangers and leaving them as friends. He brought something special and different to this world that will undoubtedly be missed.

He is preceded in death by his father William H. Johnson Sr., and is survived by his mother Vivian Stewart and sister Sherry Reliford of Ironton; brother Mark Johnson of Salem, Ore.; son William H. Johnson III (Nicole Johnson) of Lake Mary; daughter Kimberly Johnson (Patrick Cruz) of Jacksonville, Fla.; and grandsons William IV, Charles and Chandler Johnson of Lake Mary. Bo, you will always be loved, remembered and dearly missed.
