KENOVA, W.Va. — Joshua “Josh” Mathias Mosley, 29, of Chestnut Street, Kenova, passed away Saturday morning Aug. 20, 2011, at his home.

Mr. Mosley was born May 29, 1982, in Huntington, W.Va., son of Benjy and Sheila Mosley of Kenova and Jacqueline and Carl Hamlin of Chesapeake. He was employed by Kyova Truck Service in Catlettsburg, Ky. Josh attended church at Kenova United Methodist and Chesapeake Southern Baptist Church. He knew the saving grace of Jesus Christ. He read his Bible and prayed often. He loved his family and friends and was proud of his job and home. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

He is survived along with his parents by his daughter, his pride and joy, Miley Lynn Mosley of Kenova; the Love of His Life, Megan Lawless; sisters, Jessica Mosley of Charlotte, N.C. and Sara Mosley of Kenova; three special aunts, Todd “EE” Shertzer of Kenova, Pamela Thompson of South Point and Phyllis Mosley of Canton, Ga.; several aunts, uncles and cousins, and special friends and co-workers, Jay Nance, Cale Kingery, Brian Garrison, Bryan Brumfield and Anita Brumfield.

Josh was preceded in death by grandparents, Elmer and Sara Mosley, Shirley and Bea Cole and Effie Hall, and special uncle, David Mosley.

Funeral services for Josh Mosley will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the Kilgore & Collier Funeral Home on Panola Street in Catlettsburg. Reverend Jim Richards will officiate with Reverend Sean Mayenschein to assist. Final resting place is Docks Creek Cemetery, Kenova. Visiting hours will be from 6-8 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Casket bearers will be Cale Kingery, Jay Nance, Kevin Maluanda, Ernie Ball, Aaron Christian and Jack Calhoun.
