Big 2nd half keys Flyers over Royals

It was a tale of two halves.
After a scoreless first half, the St. Joseph Flyers erupted for three goals in the second half and beat the Rose Hill (Ky.) Royals 3-1 Thursday in a soccer game.
Nick Roach, Eli Lewis and Joseph Payton all scored unassisted goals in the second 40-minute period as the improved to 4-0-1 on the season.
“The team played well in all aspects of the game,” said Flyers’ coach Dan Blair.
St. Joseph hosts Chesapeake at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
