SVHS plans benefit dinner, auction
WILLOW WOOD — The Symmes Valley school district and community will conduct a “Bucks for Bill” benefit dinner and auction Friday prior to the Vikings’ home football game against Northwest.
Bill Nance, a junior at the high school, was diagnosed with melanoma cancer this past summer and will soon begin treatment. He will be in Pittsburgh for four weeks and the district is trying to raise money to defer expenses.
A dinner will be held in the cafeteria from 5-7 p.m. with the auction beginning at 6 p.m.
Pre-sale tickets are on sale in the high school principal’s office through Thursday. Cost is $5 for ages 3-12 and $10 for 13 and older. Ages 2 and under eat free.
