Lucile Dillow

Lucile Dillow, 93, of Ironton, went to a better place, Monday, Sept. 26, 2011, at King’s Daughters Medical Center in Ashland, Ky. The Scioto County native was born Oct. 15, 1917, the daughter of the late Alex and Edna Morgan Hill. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Arnold Dillow, who passed away in 1985.

Mrs. Dillow was a 1936 graduate of Green High School and was a homemaker. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church and lived most of her life in Lawrence County.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was also preceded in death by a son, Bob Dillow; two brothers, Donald Hill and Charles Hill; and two sisters, Jean Parson and Margaret Cochran.

She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Jeff and Becky Dillow of Ironton; a brother, Bill Hill of Centerville; seven grandchildren, Kim (Philip) Kreidler of Pittsburgh, Angie Dillow, Kristi (David) Massie and T.J. Dillow, all of Ironton, and Tracey Dillow, Nikki Noble and Robbie Dillow, all of North Carolina; and six great grandchildren, Isaac Massie, Jacob Massie, Jeffrey Kreidler, Arianna Standback, Antwonne Samuels, and Molly Noble

Graveside services will be 2:30 p.m. Friday in Highland Memorial Gardens with Brother Leon Holderby officiating. Visitation will be Friday from 1- 2 p.m. at Phillips Funeral Home. To offer condolences to the family, please visit www.phillipsfuneralhome.net.
