Ironton police

Trouble — 1200 block South Second Street, 12:06 a.m. unwelcome guest, given ride to another house.

Domestic — 2000 block South Seventh Street, 12:45 a.m. Saturday, neighbor seeking refuge after reportedly being beaten by husband, Michael J. Gore, 47, 2007 S. Seventh St., Ironton, arrested and taken to jail.

Suspicious person — 2500 block South 13th Street, 10:08 a.m. Saturday, strange man at door, reportedly asking to be let in, occupant refused, man left, returned, left prior to officer’s arrival.

Suspicious person — 2200 block South Seventh Street, 10:42 a.m. Saturday, strange man reportedly trying to get in residence, scared off when occupant opened door and let three dogs out, left prior to officer’s arrival.

Remove man — Family Dollar, South Second Street, 2 p.m. Saturday, man causing disturbance, left with family.

Trouble — 700 block South Seventh Street, 2:10 p.m. Saturday, people causing disturbance, negative contact.

Theft — 2000 block South Third Street, 2:20 p.m. Saturday, gasoline reportedly siphoned from car.

Theft — Baker Apartments, 4:30 p.m. Saturday, red Huffy bicycle taken.

Ransacked vehicle — 600 block Cliff Street, 11:49 p.m. Saturday, man reportedly caught going through vehicle, scared off by owner, negative contact.

Unwanted guest — 2400 block South Sixth Street, 12:03 a.m. Sunday, man reportedly kicking door of acquaintance’s house, located and advised to stay home, returned at 12:23 a.m., left prior to officer’s arrival.

Fight — 800 block South 10th Street, 12:47 a.m. Sunday, man reportedly “running his mouth,” moved on.

Vandalism — 700 block Washington Street, 1:04 a.m. Sunday, window reportedly broken by angry woman who was refused entry to another person’s residence, now outside residence bleeding, taken to hospital.

Domestic — Lyle Motel, South Third Street, 3:03 a.m. Sunday, all verbal, advised.

Passenger passed out — 3:50 a.m. Sunday, two passengers reportedly reportedly passed out in Sureway cab taken to Catlettsburg, Ky., refused to say where they wanted to go in Catlettsburg, taken to Ironton police station, taken to Marathon Refinery later by taxi.

Disturbance — Peddlers, South Third Street, 4:45 a.m. Sunday, man banned from establishment refusing to leave, causing disturbance, left prior to officer’s arrival.

Suspicious person — 2900 block South Third Street, 6:17 a.m. Sunday, man trying to get into cars stopped at traffic light, negative contact.

Vandalism — 900 block South Seventh Street, 8:58 a.m. Sunday, vehicle damaged.

Vandalism — 600 block Center Street, 2:27 p.m. Sunday, vehicle damaged.

Out on subject — Second and Vernon streets, 9:20 p.m. Sunday, Shawn M. Ratcliff,27, 703 S. Ninth St., Ironton, arrested on outstanding warrant and taken to jail.

Disorderly conduct — 700 block County Road 411, Proctorville, 1:19 a.m. Monday, 17 year old girl out of control, taken to group home.

Cruelty to animals — Private Drive 3952, Willow Wood, 10:20 p.m. Friday, dog shot, James C. Litteral, 41, 1033 Private Drive 3952, Willow Wood, cited to court.

Gross sexual imposition — Elizabeth Township, 10:41 p.m. Oct. 11, woman reportedly groped repeatedly by acquaintance, victim reportedly slapped suspect, who left prior to officer’s arrival, suspect named.

Sexual imposition, domestic violence — Perry Township, 7:35 a.m. Thursday, woman reportedly groped by former partner, suspect slapped, suspect named, located, said victim actually assaulted him at his workplace.

Theft — 2800 block County Road 30, Kitts Hill 8:44 a.m. Friday, rototiller taken.

Burglary —Township Road 293S, Chesapeake, Thursday, TV, wii taken from residence, possible suspects named.

Theft — Private Drive 3, Chesapeake, 10:19 a.m. Friday, bicycle taken.

Burglary — 1800 block County Road 31, Chesapeake, 11:55 a.m. Friday, two handguns, $500 taken from residence, suspect named.

— Stephanie R. Bradshaw, 39, 115 Township Road 600, Crown City, outstanding warrant Sunday by the Lawrence County Sheriff’s Office.

— Steven E. Wenzel Jr., 38, 42 Private Drive 362, South Point, outstanding warrant Saturday by the Lawrence County Sheriff’s Office.

— Adam Justice, 32, 1539 Township Road 84W, Willow Wood, outstanding warrant Saturday by the Lawrence County Sheriff’s Office.
