Central Christian Church in Ironton will host an unusual homecoming on Sunday, Nov. 13.

Veterans of any conflict and all branches of service will be welcomed and honored in a special ceremony beginning at 10:15 a.m. in the auditorium.

Special recognition will be given to all POW’s. Veteran Christians, people who have been Christians for fifty years or more, will also be honored.

Boy Scout Troop 106 will be on hand to provide a Color Guard for the American and Christian Flags and also will serve as Honor Guard to accompany the honorees during the program. Myron Williams, previous youth minister, will return to provide the morning message.

Immediately following the special homecoming ceremony, all attendees are invited to a special luncheon in the gymnasium. Families and friends of all veterans are invited.

If you know someone who has served, now living in Ironton or the vicinity, please contact them to let them know that Central Christian remembers.

We want to honor any and all who have answered the call. For more information call (740) 532-2930.
