Robert Campbell

WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. — Robert L. Campbell, 86, of Indianapolis, formerly of Ironton, Ohio, died Thursday, Nov. 17, 2011, in West Palm Beach.

The Ironton native was born Dec.18, 1924 the son of the late Frederick and Ethel McConnell Campbell. He was the widower of Marie Elizabeth Ebeling Campbell.

He was a graduate of Ironton High School and the University of Cincinnati College of Engineering with a bachelor’s degree. He was a WWII U.S. Army veteran. He was of the Protestant faith.

In addition to his parents and wife he was preceded in death by two brothers, Eugene F. and William Campbell and two sisters, Freida Campbell Hughes and Katherine Campbell.

He is survived by a sister, Virginia Campbell Masucci of Baltimore, Md., and several nieces and nephews.

Graveside service will be 2 p.m. Monday at Woodland Cemetery soldiers section with Father David Huffman officiating. Military rites will be conducted by the VFW Post 8850. Theda Webb

Theda Grace Webb, 93, of Ironton, passed away Wednesday, Nov. 16, 2011, at the Community Hospice Care Center in Ashland, Ky. The Ironton native was born June 19, 1918, the daughter of the late Charles Wesley Henry and Jennie (McGuire) Henry. She was preceded in death by her husband Eugene M. Webb, one son, Kenneth W. Webb, one sister, Virginia Hartwig, one brother, Paul V. Henry and son-in-law, Larry L. Dilley.

Theda graduated from Ironton High School and was an LPN at the General Hospital for many years. She also owned and operated My Aunt’s Attic Dress Shop in Ironton.

She is survived by two daughters, Janice Dilley and Karla Herrera of Ironton; six grandchildren, Teresa (Scott) Wylie, Dianna Isaac, Lori (Heath) Brownstead, all of Ironton; Dean (GiGi) Dilley of Columbus, Roger Herrera and Steven (Amy) Herrera of Fairfax, Va.; eight great-grandchildren, Travis (Isabelle) Wylie, Todd Wylie, Carly Isaac, Justin Isaac, Bailie Brownstead and Beau Brownstead, all of Ironton, and Alexander Herrera and Colin Herrera of Fairfax; and two great-great grandchildren, Olivia Wylie and Johnathan Wylie of Ironton. She is also survived by a niece Nikki Clay of Ironton.

The family wishes to thank the Community Hospice for their kindness and wonderful care during her illness. Funeral service will be at 12 p.m. on Saturday at the Tracy Brammer-Monroe Funeral Home with Pastor Ryan McKee and John Paul Patterson officiating. Interment will follow in Woodland Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10 a.m.-12 p.m. on Saturday.

Carrie Dickerson

ASHLAND, Ky. — Carrie Lynn Dickerson, 56, of Ashland, died Wednesday, Nov. 16, 2011, at home. Arrangements are pending at Hall Funeral Home.

 

John McDaniel

CHESAPEAKE — John J. McDaniel, 79, of Chesapeake, formerly of Huntington, W.Va., died Wednesday, Nov. 16, 2011, at his residence. He was the husband of Renieca Ann McDaniel, who survives. Funeral will be 1 p.m. Sunday at Hall Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery, Louisa, Ky. Visitation will be 6-9 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
