Barbara Witt

Barbara Witt, 77, of Ironton, passed away Monday, Dec. 12, 2011, at St. Mary‘s Medical Center in Huntington, W.Va.

She was born Jan. 5, 1934, to the late Clark B. Warren and Anna Catherine (Speck) Warren-Addis. She was also preceded in death by her husband Russell Witt and her stepfather Joseph Addis.

Barbara was a member of the St. Paul Lutheran Church in Ironton where she was active in many ministries and the Social Outreach Program.

She is survived by one brother, Clark P. (Barbara R.) Warren of Price, Utah; two daughters, Rae Ann (Dr. Bradley) Richardson of Huntington, W.Va., and Kristi (Karl) Wentz of Ironton; two granddaughters, Amanda (James) McFann of Kitts Hill, and Kathryn Deer of Ironton; four great grandsons, Chase and Caden McFann of Kitts Hill, and Landon and Levi Deer of Ironton; one very faithful companion, Sassy.

Funeral service will be noon today at the Tracy Brammer-Monroe Funeral Home with Pastor David Ritchie officiating. Interment will follow in Woodland Cemetery. Betty Whaley, 88, of Ironton, died Tuesday, Dec. 13, 2011 at Community Hospice Care Center in Ashland, Ky. Arrangements are pending at the Tracy Brammer-Monroe Funeral Home.
