Freeda McClure-Dolin

SOUTH POINT — Freeda June McClure-Dolin 79, of South Point, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, Feb. 1, 2012. She was born Jan. 17, 1933, in Madison, W.Va. Reunited with and preceding her in death were her parents Glen Evan and Geneva Ella (Ball) McClure and a baby brother Evan.

She is survived by her devoted husband of 60 years, Andrew Jackson Dolin. She leaves her love and blessings to her six children, Glen and Kay (Jeffrey) Dolin of South Point, Steve and Sharon (Triplett) Dolin of South Point, Maurice and Judy (Svarda) Dolin of Middletown, Fred and Frances (Dolin) Lewis of Kitts Hill, Terry and Pat (Byrd) Dolin of South Point and Rick and Shirley (Dolin) Snider of Barboursville, W.Va.; 18 grandchildren, Andrew, Candace, Jami, Amanda, Michael, Nathan, Kevin, Buddy, Laura, Jenafer, Alicia, Matthew, Johnathan, Ace, Terrina, Jennifer, Luke and Mark; and 23 great grandchildren.

Mommy’s works were a testimony to her faithful obedient servanthood to God, worshipping Him as a member of the Kenova Church of Christ. Along her journey in life she embraced being a wife and mother continuing to raise her children “…in the way they should go…” Prov. 22:16. She enjoyed reading, crocheting, yard selling and the church’s annual VBS. We can only imagine the smile on her face when she received her Heavenly Reward. She is now resting in the arms of her parents and our Lord. Our world has become dimmer, but Heaven became a little brighter upon her arrival. We love you, Mommy.
