As a taxpaying citizen in this town, I think I have a right to express my thoughts.

I have lived here all my life and have never seen this town falling apart like it is.

I think that the “good old boys club” downtown needs put out, and younger, smarter, more 21st Century thinking people put in their place. It is the same old politics.

If they can not pass anything through by the voting process they lay on the water bill or tag on another charge for the taxpayer to pay.

No wonder no businesses want to come here or people.

There has to be better. I sat through a commissioners’ meeting a couple times and no wonder they do not get anything done

They are there to serve us the citizens who put them in there and to protect us and let our town grow.

I think as long as the same old thinking and the same “good old boys club” and their families that carry on their traditions are here we will never see this town grow.

I hope you print this because I am not the only tax paying citizen who is thinking this.

We need to put politics aside and push for growth.
