Ironton Police

Suspicious person — Sixth and Spruce streets, 6:19 a.m. Tuesday, caller reported female came to her door and asked for ride downtown and became angry when caller refused, unable to locate.

Missing child — 11 a.m. Tuesday, information taken for report, son has not returned home.

Trouble — CVS, 2:31 p.m. Tuesday, male drinking by the front door, negative contact.

Vehicle vandalized — 1500 block South Fourth Street, 3:59 p.m. Tuesday, lugs nuts loosened on wheels, caller asked for extra patrols in the area.

Dog bite complaint — 4:52 p.m. Tuesday, complainant wants to speak to officer and health department.

Dogs running loose — 400 block of South Second Street, 9:50 p.m. Tuesday, two big dogs running loose, will not let complainants off porch, message left on dog warden’s cell phone.

Dogs running loose — 1800 South Eighth Street, 10 p.m. Tuesday, caller’s wife chased by boxer, dog now trapped in yard, message left on dog warden’s cell phone.

Domestic violence — 1900 South Third Street, 10:27 p.m. Tuesday, man allegedly threatening to hurt his wife if she gets out of her car, also trying to ram her car, wife refused to press charges, all parties advised.

Suspicious person — Buckeye Monument, 11:22 p.m. Tuesday, man dressed all in black inside fenced area of Buckeye Monument, negative contact.

Hit/skip — Eighth and Vernon streets, 5:02 p.m. Wednesday, skip vehicle is a grey primer Chevy Cavalier with female driver.

Domestic violence — 7:37 p.m. Wednesday, man and wife allegedly fighting, logged only.

Hit/skip — Ninth and Adams streets, 7:47 p.m. Wednesday, caller found car had been hit, information taken for report.

Threats — 200 block Vernon Street, 9:16 p.m. Wednesday, 21-year-old allegedly made threats to 9-year-old, 9-year-old’s parents to file charges, info taken for report.

Trouble — 300 block Pine Street, 11:17 p.m. Wednesday, three or four boys shooting BB guns at passing vehicles, negative contact, will patrol area.

 

Sheriff’s office

Theft, misuse of credit cards — 200 block of Township Road 102, Ironton, woman reported debit card missing and money withdrawn from bank account, woman identified son in ATM camera photos, wants to pursue charges.

Theft, breaking and entering — 2000 block County Road 411, Pikeville, Jan. 28, 2:30 a.m., garage side door pried open, five guns stolen from safe, no suspects.

Domestic violence — Washington Township, Feb. 8, woman alleged husband off his medications and pointed a shotgun at her and pushed her daughter, Jimmie Sparks, 65, of 20601 State Route 93, South Webster, arrested.

Domestic violence — 200 block Private Drive 741, Kitts Hill, Monday, woman alleged her 15-year-old son struck and pushed her, officer noted redness on mothers arms, son then cut wrists with razor blade, minor cuts, child arrested and taken to Lawrence County Group and Shelter Home.

Burglary — 1000 block County Road 1, South Point, 5:40 p.m. Feb. 5, woman reported coming home to find her door unlocked, flat screen TV and digital camera taken.
