A 22-year-old Ironton woman was sentenced for breaking into her father’s garage Wednesday in Lawrence County Common Pleas Court.
Sarah Brace, of 2045 County Road 181, pleaded guilty to a bill of information of fifth-degree breaking and entering.
Assistant Prosecuting Attorney Mack Anderson and Brace’s defense attorney Warren Morford both agreed they felt Brace was ready to get help for her drug problem.
“I’m sorry once again, and hopefully I’ll get it right this time,” Brace said before sentencing.
Judge Charles Cooper sentenced Brace to four years of community-controlled sanctions with intensive supervised probation and ordered her to complete the STAR Community Justice Center drug program.
