Evan Salyers has quite a resume. On Monday, he added another item.

The Fairland Dragons’ 6-foot-5 senior is already in two exclusive clubs as one of the school’s 1,000-point career scorers and also as a 500-career rebounder.

Salyers added All-Ohio to his list when the Associated Press named him special mention on the Division II team.

Besides being All-Ohio, Salyers was a first team All-Southeast District selection. He helped lead the Dragons to the district finals.

On the season Salyers averaged 18 points and 10 rebounds a game. He shot 57 percent from the field and 70 percent from the foul line as the Dragons finished 17-6.

Five players shared Player of the Year honors including Dan Monteroso of St. Clairsville, Adolphus Washington of Cin.Taft, Reggie McAdams of Elida, Joey Vuyancih of Mentor Lake Catholic and Gary Akbar of Dayton Dunbar.
