Last week, the three Recker sisters led Arlington High School to its first state championship in basketball. Now it’s their brother’s turn.

He’ll get his chance to match his sisters if the Arlington’s boys’ team can win its state semifinal game on Thursday.

The quadruplets’ mother says they’ve always been competitive, but this year the seniors have been pulling for one another to get to the state tournament.

Deidre Recker says she and her husband know that if the boys’ team doesn’t win this weekend, her family will be hearing about the girls’ championship a long time.

Earlier this season, Amelia Recker scored her 1,000th career point, and three weeks later her brother, Thayne, reached the same milestone.
