Who are these Tea Party people? The short answer is they are just like you, extremely fearful for the future of their children and grandchildren.

They fear a future of scarce jobs, high taxes and big government dictating education, health care, energy usage and individual rights and freedoms of all sorts and descriptions.

They are neither Republicans nor Democrats, convinced that the failure of nearly all politicians proves they are more interested in their own welfare than in protecting yours and mine.

Otherwise, how could we have gotten into the mess we are now in?

That’s who they are.
