CINCINNATI (AP) — The Bengals signed former Indianapolis defensive end Jamaal Anderson on Saturday and agreed to another contract with defensive tackle Pat Sims, who had been an unrestricted free agent.
Anderson was Atlanta’s first-round pick in 2007. He played four seasons for the Falcons before moving to Indianapolis for last season. He started one game for the Colts and had three sacks overall.
Sims has spent his four seasons with Cincinnati, starting a total of 23 games. He played in the first 11 last season, including one start, before an ankle injury ended his season. He had 28 tackles and one sack.
The Bengals have lost defensive ends Jonathan Fanene (Patriots) and Frostee Rucker (Browns) during free agency.
