— Richard Bridges, 27, 1493 County Road 6, Ironton, commitment Monday by the Lawrence County Sheriff’s Office.

— Gregory R. Riggs, 22, 7685 State Route 243, South Point, burglary Monday by the Lawrence County Sheriff’s Office.

Sheriff’s office

Dog bite — Township Road 1465, Chesapeake, 1 p.m. March 22, child bitten by neighbor’s dog, mother declined to file charges.

Theft — Delta Lane, South Point, 1:12 p.m. Thursday, vehicle stolen from junkyard; later located, subject advised he had purchased the vehicle through a third party, name given.

Burglary — 1400 block County Road 144, South Point, 8:57 a.m. March 23, rifle, other items taken from residence, suspect named.

Burglary — State Route 373, Pedro, 5:47 p.m. Friday, money, medication taken from residence, possible suspect named.

Breaking and entering/theft/criminal damaging — 2500 block County Road 56, Ironton, 9:32 p.m. Thursday, garage entered, oil drained from motorcycle, truck dashboard damaged, fire department radio taken, tools possibly taken, suspect named.

Theft — 200 block Private Drive, South Point, 8 p.m. Sunday, wallet taken from purse, credit cards, other personal ID taken, credit cards used.

Attempted theft — 100 block North Sixth Street, 6:30 a.m. Sunday, attempt made to steal catalytic converter off car.

Theft — 2900 block South 11th Street, 10:15 a.m. Sunday, items taken from camper.

Burglary — 1700 Waldo Drive, 1:49 p.m. Sunday.

Kids on roof trespassing — 1000 block Pine Street, 2:37 p.m. Sunday, three juveniles taken to police station.

Assault — 300 block Kemp Street, 3:36 p.m. Sunday, citation issued.

Fight — 700 block South Ninth Street, 12:09 a.m. Monday, two people reportedly involved named, officer spoke to several people who said they didn’t know anything about it.

Vandalism — 700 block South Ninth Street, 2:56 a.m. Monday, window in residence broken, suspect named.

Trouble — Speedway, Eighth Street and Park Avenue, 6:57 a.m. Monday, irate customer left prior to officer’s arrival.

Trouble — Loan Central, 710 Park Ave., 10:34 a.m. Monday, irate customer left prior to officer’s arrival.

Shoplifter — Dollar General, South Third Street, 11:38 a.m. Monday, one woman cited to court.

Trouble — Liebert parking lot, Lorain and South Seventh streets, 2:06 p.m. Monday, people arguing, left prior to officer’s arrival.

Dog bite — Reported at police station, 4:12 p.m. Monday, woman requested to talk to officer.

Domestic — 200 block Rose Street, 6:20 p.m. Monday, female juvenile taken to group home.
